I really like my sleep pod. It is comfortable and I like the snug feeling. I was between 2 sizes and decided to size up as I like to sleep with a pillow. However, I regret not buying the smaller size as I would have liked a tighter fit.
I would rate zero if an option. I spent over $100 as my kids were excited for Hugs. The website pulled in my payment info from some unknown source without my effort. Then as I proceeded there was no option to review shipping info before it said your order is submitted listing bad shipping address I never entered. I reached out to company as there was no way to change. Answer didn’t inspire confidence. I got confirmation it shipped that listed correct address. Was never recd. we have doorbell camera and nothing was recd when they said. When I reached out about not receiving, customer service suggested checking with neighbors. Still without my order.
He loves his hug!!! He goes to sleep so fast once he’s snuggled down 😊
The sleep pod is a rectangular shape of stretchy atheleisure type fabric. This should be extremely cheap and easy to make. But they are charging $83 “on sale” ($100 normally). This is an outrageous rip off.
It is however helpful, but I can’t recommend it at this price. If you know someone with a sewing machine, just get them to make you one instead.
I bought 2 sleeping pods. I tried them with the kids, they did not like it and felt uncomfortable. I wanted to return and they do not accept you to return it - you need to use their label and I paid $12.00 for it. I asked to make the return myself and they did not even apologize or explained why I could not make it myself. This was the comment: "If the provided return instructions are not followed, we will not receive or be able to process a return for your order." - super nice...
My daughter didn’t love the sizing, it was too constricting so I can’t give a great review. The color and material came as shown.
My daughter wears a 10/12 comfortably but the tween size that said it fit a 10-14 was so loose it gave no pressure which defeats the purpose of the product. Very disappointing for such a pricy purchase.
Be cautious when ordering. I got one for my 12-year-old grandson who has ADHD for his birthday on 10/31. Ordered earlier in October so I would have time to receive it and give to him on his birthday. No receipt came in the package; just the email info I received. I just saw my family at Thanksgiving and my daughter in law said it was too large for him. I ordered size tween camo, which should have been his size, based on the sizing charts. It was too large and felt nothing like a HUG. I contacted customer service via email (no phone number listed) to inquire if there are any exceptions for returns. Of course, the answer is NO. I would like to donate it to a child who can use it because I have a very costly item no one can use. It was tried on but never used. All I ask is someone legit request the item and pay for the cost of shipping.
These were a huge waste of money. My kids have ADHD/ASD/sensory issues and have a hard time sleeping. I was hoping these would help, but they didn't.
I’m neurodivergent and have had trouble sleeping many years. The relief I get from this is immense. I can sleep through the night without waking up now. Even if I fall asleep with my arms out of it the compression still works to make me sleep all night. I love it!! I only wish I could’ve gotten two.
My son and I co-sleep and he needs to press his feet up against me throughout the night. But he doesn’t do it with this sleep pod. It’s great! Plus he loves wearing it! I’ve had many a great idea that he shut down, but not this one!
I found that it was not a good fit for me in that it was too long. I also found it to be claustrophobic. But this might well not be the case for everyone. It is at it is described. I should have left 4 stars. I'm sorry.
Although it was mainly for my middle kid, I bought one for each of my 3 kids. The youngest and middle ones, both boys, 4 and 7 years old LOVE them. My oldest, a girl, didn't use it much after the first week but found that she missed it when she slept over at her cousin's. Overall, Im glad I purchased them. Great product!
I had high hopes for the Hug Sleep and really wanted it to make a big difference. But, after 6 straight nights, I really didn't see any difference in my sleep patterns. Darn!
This is very comfortable, just the right amount of hug and does help control body temp
Very expensive to be not what I was looking for. The leg section has too much hug. I had hoped the foot hole would help with temperature regulation and allow me to move my legs more but it is far too tight in the hips/thighs to allow for any position other than both legs locked together. The top does not provide enough compression to give me the same feeling of a weighted blanket. I have tried 2 night and woke up in a huff in the middle of the night feeling trapped and had to get the pod off quickly.
My son with Autism is obsessed! He’s sleeping better and in a way better mood in the mornings!
Ordered large by accident wasn’t bad at 6’3” but they exchanged for XL and this is perfect. My sleep scores in my whoop have improved.
It's so comfy, keeps you warm, but is cool when you stick your feet out. I've been sleeping throughout the night now instead of 4 hr blocks for the last 14 yrs.
My granddaughter crams herself into the corner of the bed and wall to sleep. With the Hug sleeper she falls asleep anywhere on the bed and the open foot area allows for safe walking and cooling down.
This has been great for reducing my anxiety and helping me fall asleep quickly.
