First of all, I thought I had purchased the Sleep Pod Hoodie, but apparently I was mistaken. But as this is what I thought I had bought, I originally put the pod on upside-down and wondered why it was akin to a true straight jacket. Super soft material, seemingly stretchy, but with the hood on, my arms and shoulders were EXTREMELY constricted. Then I noticed that the little flap for my feet was missing and the light bulb finally went on 😆. I was wearing the foot flap as a hood and one I turned the pod around, the damn thing was instant perfection. Except for the missing hood... super, deliciously snug- worthy and soft enough to satisfy this crazy neurosensory challenged gal, I am in love. I also have a bizarre floating right arm when I sleep- (I said it was weird)- and this pod is legit the ONLY thing I've found that has successfully kept my right arm from levitating all night long which has caused not only chronic soreness, but also arthritis and alarming thuds against the headboard as it drops intermittently back into a relaxed submission. I've had this baby for a mere couple of weeks and definitely am in need of at least 1 more to rotate with for hygienic purposes. Only suggestion- POCKETS! Throw a couple side pockets (zippered preferred) and it's a perfect 13/10. Feel free to send more my way as I'm a great test dummy for this product fo' sho'.
Both my son and I love the.soft material and cuddled feeling, we sleep so much better with it!
I have been trying to find something to help for a while as using a weighted blanket with my husband not using one was hard. I also do a lot of camp outs as a scout leader and a weighted blanket is not something you can bring with. This has changed the way I sleep and works when not at home. Already looking into one for my daughter's as an option when not at home as well
Took no time at all to get used to. It's what's been missing in my rest.
I have always had trouble sleeping due to tossing and turning from my anxiety. From the first night using it, I have been sleeping so much better. It feels like I'm getting a compression hug and in a cozy cocoon.
I love this as an alternative to my weighted blanket, especially during the warmer months. I aldo purchased one for my tween and she loves hers so much also!
My son is always putting his arms and head inside his pajamas. I thought he would love this. I was right!!!! He lives in it now. lol
I was skeptical about this product, but there was a special going on so I bought it on a whim. I am 51 years old, never diagnosed with ADD, but knowing what I know about it, I am pretty sure I have always had it. Anyway, I toss and turn a lot at night. I also have back pain. This has solved both. Not sure why, but my back doesn't hurt at night any more. As for the tossing and turning, my wife says she can't believe how still I am now. I love the way it feels inside the sleep pod. It's just cozy and secure, not sure how to explain it. I don't use the hood. Probably didn't need that style. The material is comfy and soft and breathes well. I can sleep in the pod without a blanket, bit if the ceiling fan is on I can feel the cold air blowing through, so I cover up. I don't get too hot unless the fan and ac is off. My wife turned them off the other night and I was in the pod and covered up and I sweated a lot, so she knows that if she does that again she needs to uncover me, lol. I am 5'9" and 175. I wear 34 waist with a belt, but I am probably a 32. I got the large and I think it is great. That said, I am curious about how a medium would feel. Would I be even more snug, or would I be too snug? As you can see, I really like the thing. The only issue I have had is the inconvenience when I have to get up to use the bathroom or something, or when I need my hands to adjust the mask for my CPAP, use the tv remote, etc. The access port for the feet helps, but I have to take baby shuffle steps. One or two arm hole ports would be nice. That may hurt the structural integrity of the pod though. Not sure. Either way, I am hooked and those issues won't keep me from donning the thing every night. Hopefully my wife thinks I look sexy in it, but I can probably assume she does not. The CPAP mask doesn't help either.....
I honestly feel like a swaddle baby and I passed out immediately in it when I woke up I did wanna sprawl everything out, but such a good comfort mechanism for anxiety as well
My husband prefers the hooded version and I love the non-hooded version. They have been wonderful for helping me fall asleep and keeping him cool while he sleeps.
I bought the Sleep Pod Blanket for my Wife & She LOVES IT!!! Helps her Relax & Feel Safe & Comfortable!!!
Immediate positive results in my sleep! I did not have to get used to it.
My daughter loves hers she got tween one but my son which i original got it for will not use it.
I came across Hugsleep's products by way of an Instagram ad, and to be perfectly honest, I wasn't counting on the Hooded Sleep Pod being all that special. However, my girlfriend has terrible issues falling asleep and staying asleep due to her ADHD and anxiety, so I decided to grab one (two* with their sale!) and see if it helped her at all. These things are life-changing! Her and I both have never slept better, the Pods are comfortable for lounging around being lazy or for sleep, and they're incredibly well made. Even the packaging had us impressed! Do yourself a solid and buy one or 4 of these Pods!
This is the best invention! I sleep so well. What could be more soft and huggable to my body giving me a cozy nap or night sleep! I would like to buy more in different bright colors!
I'm a 41 year old autistic woman with ADHD, and all the ailments that come along with that - an overactive nervous system, ptsd, anxiety, etc. I rely on a lot to help me sleep, usually unsuccessfully. I joked when I first got the sleep pod that it felt "too gentle" and that I needed something more along the lines of a straight jacket. I didn't expect such a gentle touch to work as effectively as it does. And maybe that straight jacket would work even better, idk, but I am impressed with the sleep pod!
My only con is that it's not the easiest to get out of first thing in the morning, but that might be a me thing, as I wake up hard and have little patience first thing upon waking. I liken it to a butterfly struggling to emerge from her cocoon. LOL I'd absolutely purchase it again, though. Maybe it'll teach me patience in the morning.
I love that I can free my feet without needing to take the pod off. Makes getting up at night so much easier.
I bought this primarily for my wife as I sleep soundly anyway but purchased 2. I immediately took to the comfort and soothing soft feel of the Hug Sleep and was impressed with the heat regulation. I followed the instructions and started with it pulled chest height and slept 'like a log'. I'm looking forward to winter when I'll fully cocoon myself. Well done Hug Sleep, I'm sure this will benefit many sleepers.
My son put it in and refused to take it off! It is sooo soft, love that he can have his feet in or out. They thought of everything including having a very soft flat label! For my sensory kid this is the best.
I call it my "sleep pod" and it had made a huge difference in how fast I can fall asleep. I have OCD and autism and the compression is the perfect amount. The cloth is good quality and very stretchy. I like how the fabric has a silky feeling so my dry skin or nails do not catch on it. My only regret is that I did not buy two of them. I exchanged my first one received for a smaller size and had so problems. Very fast exchange.
I love this thing. It's like a breathable weighted blanket. Stays cool and comfy.
